Governor Branstad addresses Luther College students
Gov. Branstad today visited the campus of Luther College in Decorah, where he gave an address to students and area residents.
The stop is a part of his commitment to visit every college and university campus in Iowa.
While there, he stressed the importance of keeping more of Iowa’s college graduates within the state. He stated he intends to do this through his goal to create 200,000 new jobs within the state.
Additionally, the governor stressed his goal to raise family incomes all across Iowa by 25 percent, reducing the cost of government by 15 percent, and setting high standards for education in order to make Iowa’s educational system the best in the country.
Special thanks to everyone who came out to this great event!
