Iowa has a FIFTH season!
After such a cold and snowy winter, the thought of a fifth season – a chocolate season! – sounds pretty good at this point. Well, in Algona, there IS a Chocolate Season.
In another great success story, Erika (Berg) Jensen and her husband, Brad, moved back to Algona from Omaha so they could open their two businesses. Erika started her business, The Chocolate Season, in Omaha as an internet business about 3 years ago. Brad has a photography business, specializing in weddings. They opened their store in downtown Algona about 4 weeks ago. Erika makes fresh chocolates: truffles, turtles, fudge, etc. as well as desserts such as cheese cake, brownies, cake, cookies…and more!
